SOCAR began accepting applications on August 21, 2026 for the WIN (What is Next) Open Innovation Program, aimed at integrating innovative ideas and advanced technologies into the energy sector.

The project’s main goal is to test technological solutions that improve oil and gas operations and support the energy transition, working directly with SOCAR specialists to evaluate application possibilities.

The program covers energy transition and low‑carbon technologies, artificial intelligence, data analytics and digitalisation, sustainable economy, operational excellence, and occupational health, technical safety and environmental protection (HSE). Applications are open to startups, technology companies and innovators from anywhere in the world.

Applications close on September 12, 2026. Participants who pass selection will receive a test budget of up to USD 20,000 to trial projects in a real operational environment in direct cooperation with SOCAR specialists.
