Operational projects
The group reports commissioning several landmark demonstration projects — Hainan Ethylene, Jiujiang Aromatics and Nangang Ethylene — as part of a push for high‑end, intelligent and green development in refining and chemicals, while coordinating oil and gas reserve increases and production with low‑carbon goals.
New energy and infrastructure
Sinopec says it has enhanced green energy supply by accelerating hydrogen, clean heating, clean power and biofuel businesses. Reported assets include the world's largest hydrogen refuelling network, geothermal heating capacity exceeding 137 million square metres, over 10,000 charging and swapping stations, more than 7,000 photovoltaic sites and wind and solar installed capacity above 2,300 MW.
Efficiency and technology
During the 14th Five‑Year Plan period nearly 2,000 energy‑efficiency improvement projects were implemented. The company accelerated original green and low‑carbon R&D, promoted eight major carbon peak actions and reports its green electricity consumption scale ranks third nationally.
