Sinopec has launched its geothermal heating services for the winter, covering over 70 cities in 11 provinces across China. This initiative provides clean heating to more than 1.2 million households, with a geothermal heating capacity reaching 126 million square meters, marking a new record.

Intelligent services are being developed to ensure high-quality heating. The New Star Company has upgraded equipment and implemented new energy smart production operation and maintenance platforms. Global Recognition
Sinopec continues to lead in the geothermal industry, being the largest developer and user of mid-deep geothermal energy in China. The Xiong County geothermal project in Hebei has achieved full coverage and is recognized globally by the International Renewable Energy Agency. Sinopec also hosted the seventh World Geothermal Congress in 2023, where China's national geothermal report was released for the first time.
