Cloud CAE partnership
Siemens and Alibaba Cloud expanded their partnership to deliver computer-aided engineering (CAE) as IaaS in China, validating cloud-enabled CAE on Alibaba Cloud with virtual simulation appliances and high-performance computing clusters and exploring integration of Alibaba’s Qwen LLM into PLM workflows.

Siemens introduced 26 new edge, automation and control technologies, including a new generation of PLCs with higher performance and memory, compact servo systems for precise motion, and AI-powered applications such as predictive maintenance software that detects anomalies from operational data.
AI infrastructure and data center technologies
New offerings for AI infrastructure include solutions for industrial connectivity and data, infrastructure protection technologies, a locally developed generation of DC circuit breakers for high-performance data centers, and an AI-driven cooling solution that continuously optimizes cooling and energy use in high-density sites such as Alibaba Cloud’s Zhangbei Data Center.
