Key highlights
- 5.1 MWp PV plant to be built on Sasol Italy land in Terranova dei Passerini.
- Commissioning scheduled for H2 2026 with expected annual generation of ~7.61 GWh and avoided emissions >4,000 tCO2/year (~2,800 households).
- Project implemented under an on-site PPA with Sasol purchasing and balancing output, and EEMAXX INNOVATION handled project authorization.
Project overview
GreenYellow Italia and Sasol Italy have begun construction of a 5.1 MWp photovoltaic plant on Sasol-owned land in Terranova dei Passerini (Lodi), to be developed under an on-site power purchase agreement.
Performance and environmental impact
The facility is expected to produce approximately 7.61 GWh per year and to avoid over 4,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually, roughly equivalent to the average consumption of 2,800 households.
Commercial structure and timeline
Electricity will be purchased and balanced by Sasol Italy under the on-site PPA, providing more stable economic conditions for the site; commissioning is scheduled for the second half of 2026.
Partners and authorizations
EEMAXX INNOVATION supported project development, particularly the authorization process that enabled the start of construction.
