New COO Appointment
Sandra Dettmer will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at RWE Renewables Europe & Australia GmbH on 1 April 2026. This newly created position aims to enhance management focus on the increasing number of onshore wind, solar, and battery storage projects in Europe and Australia.
Responsibilities
Dettmer's responsibilities will include overseeing the engineering, construction, and operation of wind, solar, and battery parks. Additionally, she will manage Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) aspects, ensuring safe and efficient project execution.
Management Team
Joining CEO Sopna Sury and CFO Simon Bockmühl, Dettmer strengthens the management board with her extensive experience. Previously, she served as Director of Construction at RWE Renewables Europe & Australia, bringing valuable expertise to her new role.
