QEMETICA and its subsidiary Smart Fluid signed a three-year strategic cooperation agreement with Taiwan’s Hocheng Corporation (HCG) and Poland’s SKB Group, in the presence of Taiwan’s Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs, Cynthia Kiang. The partnership aims to strengthen cooperation across the chemical industry and the production of industrial materials, chemicals and components for multiple industrial sectors.
Technical focus
The companies will collaborate on developing new products and technologies, covering the full process from research and development through testing to commercialization. The agreement highlights work on Smart Fluid, described as a non-Newtonian material that dynamically changes its properties when subjected to impact or pressure.
Commercialisation and capacity
Key elements include the exchange of technological and industry-specific knowledge and sharing of business practices to raise expertise on both sides. HCG, a manufacturer of sanitary systems, technical ceramics and modern composite materials, together with SKB, is building its first European production hub in Poland for advanced carbon composites.
