FastPass Admission
The Thailand Board of Investment admitted PureCycle (Thailand) to the FastPass Investment Acceleration Program under Project No. E682982, granting facilitated access to approvals and permits to start operations; the certificate is valid from May 6, 2026 through December 31, 2028.
Project Details
The FastPass covers PureCycle’s planned polypropylene (#5) recycling facility to be built in IRPC’s eco‑industrial zone in Rayong and is intended to support regional feedstock supply and offtake across Southeast Asia; the project is part of PureCycle’s plan to reach one billion pounds of installed polypropylene recycling capacity by 2030.
Conditions and Timeline
The program is for large-scale, strategic technology investments and aims to compress the timeline from commitment to operation through coordinated facilitation by BOI partner agencies; to retain FastPass status the project must invest at least 20% of the stated total within six months of certification, a threshold PureCycle says its current plan meets.
