EGAT in Police, Poland, is a project to build PDH/PP production facilities, producing 400,000 tons of polypropylene annually. It is Poland's largest petrochemical plant project and the largest won by a Korean engineering company in the EU. Expected to open doors for Korean companies in European construction.
EGAT, located in Police, Zachodniopomorskie (450km northwest of Warszawa, Poland), is a project to build PDH/PP production facilities. Through the PDH process, propylene is produced in propane gas and combined with ethylene to produce 400,000 tons of polypropylene a year.
It is not only Poland's largest petrochemical plant construction project, but also the largest plant project ever won and executed by a Korean engineering company in EU. This project is expected to serve as a stepping stone for entry into various construction fields in Europe, which had high entry barriers.
