Pembina selects Worley for Heartland Extraction Plant EPC

Contract award
Worley has been awarded a contract by Pembina Pipeline Corporation to provide engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction (EPC) services for the Heartland Extraction Plant (HEP) in Strathcona County, Alberta, Canada.
Project details
The Heartland Extraction Plant is a greenfield straddle facility designed to process up to 750 million cubic feet per day of natural gas and will extract natural gas liquids (NGL) from the Yellowhead Pipeline.
Delivery and schedule
The project will be delivered by an integrated EPC team from Worley’s Alberta locations and the facility is scheduled to begin operations in late 2029.
