ORLEN has launched a request for proposals to find technology partners to develop and deploy AI solutions and accelerate its digital transformation while strengthening Poland’s advanced technology ecosystem. The initiative aims to improve efficiency, speed decision-making and develop new business models.
Scope and expertise sought
The RFP seeks partners with hands-on experience in generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced data analytics, data science, mathematical modelling and deploying AI in corporate environments. ORLEN is particularly interested in applications relevant to Energy, Downstream, Upstream and Corporate Functions.
Engagement model and target partners
Planned framework agreements are expected to give the ORLEN Group faster access to specialist expertise and streamline rollout of AI projects across business areas. The company is open to working with both large technology firms and smaller organisations specialising in R&D, and is keen to work with Polish technology companies that can compete globally.

The RFP was preceded by an ORLEN IT Supplier Forum in Katowice as part of the Energy Partners of Tomorrow programme, where several hundred IT and technology company representatives discussed the Group’s IT plans and procurement requirements.
