Overview
Nouryon has opened a new innovation center in Shanghai, China, aimed at enhancing localized innovation and customer collaboration. This facility is part of Nouryon's strategy to support sustainable growth in China and the Asia Pacific region.
Facility Expansion
The new center more than doubles the space of the previous Shanghai facility and significantly boosts technical capabilities. It includes investments in testing and analytical equipment for high-growth sectors such as agriculture, electronics, construction, and pharmaceuticals.
Specialized Laboratories
The center features eight specialized laboratories, including those dedicated to Expancel® thermoplastic microspheres, Kromasil® chromatography media, Levasil® colloidal silica, and Bermocoll® cellulose ethers. These labs enhance Nouryon's ability to develop solutions tailored to Chinese industries.
Customer Experience Center
A key highlight is the customer experience center for the Personal Care business, which facilitates hands-on collaboration through workshops, live demonstrations, and formulation development. This enables Nouryon to showcase product performance in real-world applications.
Sustainability Focus
