Leadership Changes
Neste has announced new appointments to its leadership team, effective from 1 April 2026. The changes primarily impact the Renewable Products business, with commercial, refining, and feedstock sourcing and trading now represented in the leadership team.
New Business Unit
A Renewable Products, North America business unit is being established. This unit will oversee all renewable products business in North America, including regional feedstock and commercial operations, as well as the Martinez joint venture.
Leadership Team Members
The leadership team will include Heikki Malinen as President and CEO, with members such as Jori Sahlsten, Artturi Mikkola, Jukka Kanerva, Carl Nyberg, and others reporting to him. Carl Nyberg will serve as interim President for the North America unit.
Strategic Focus
Neste's strategy emphasizes growth in renewable fuels, aiming to enhance value creation and long-term growth. The company’s renewables production capacity is projected to reach 6.8 million tons annually by 2027.
