Financial Performance

MOL Group reported a profit before tax of USD 1.3 billion for 2025, marking an 11% decrease compared to 2024. The company has set its 2026 profit guidance at approximately USD 1.5 billion.

Downstream and Consumer Services

Downstream performance improved year-on-year in Q4 2025, driven by strong refining margins despite lower crude processing volumes. Consumer Services continued its upward trend, supported by one-off factors and growth in both fuel and non-fuel sectors.

Upstream Challenges

Upstream performance was negatively impacted by a challenging macroeconomic environment and lower oil and gas prices, although production levels increased, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe and the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Hydrocarbon production in Q4 2025 exceeded 99.4 mboepd, with an annual average of 94.7 mboepd.

Circular Economy and Gas Midstream

Circular Economy Services contributed positively to Q4 2025 results, aided by seasonality and internal efficiency efforts. The Deposit Refund Scheme was largely completed, with a beverage packaging return ratio of 88.8%. Gas Midstream performance remained flat year-on-year, with higher transmission demand offset by lower regulated tariffs.
