Basic Chemicals Performance

The Basic Chemicals segment, including LOTTE Chemical Basic Materials Business, LC Titan, LC USA, and LOTTE GS Chemical, recorded sales of KRW 3.3833 trillion and an operating loss of KRW 122.5 billion. Profitability improved due to the end of scheduled maintenance and stabilizing raw material prices, although global demand remains sluggish.

Advanced Materials and Fine Chemical

The Advanced Materials division achieved sales of KRW 1,022.2 billion and an operating profit of KRW 57.5 billion, driven by high-value product sales despite weaker downstream demand. LOTTE Fine Chemical reported sales of KRW 443.4 billion and an operating profit of KRW 27.6 billion, benefiting from rising international chlorine-based product prices and maintenance completion.

Energy Materials Challenges

LOTTE Energy Materials posted sales of KRW 143.7 billion and an operating loss of KRW 34.3 billion. Despite efforts to improve productivity, losses persisted due to customer-side adjustments. The company plans to expand strategic sales of high-value AI circuit foil and ESS battery foil amid challenging external conditions.
