Production Achievements
LibertyStream has achieved consistent production of lithium carbonate from its automated refining unit in the Permian Basin, Texas. Independent third-party laboratories have validated multiple batches, confirming compliance with target specifications.
Operational Milestones
The company has completed two of its three near-term objectives: independent validation of lithium carbonate and consistent production meeting specifications. Customer qualification, supported by certificates of analysis, is currently underway.
Future Plans
Following customer qualification, LibertyStream plans to advance to bulk sampling and offtake discussions, aiming for commercial volumes by 2027. In the interim, all lithium carbonate produced, outside of customer sampling, will be sold in the spot market in 2026.
Technical Progress
Over the past 17 months, LibertyStream's Texas operations have processed over 350,000 barrels of brine and completed more than 2,500 real-time validation tests. The system is designed to process up to 10,000 barrels of oilfield brine per day into a lithium chloride eluate.
