Exploration Contracts Signed

TotalEnergies has signed four Production Sharing Contracts (PSC) for offshore exploration in Liberia. The contracts cover the LB-6, LB-11, LB-17, and LB-29 blocks, awarded after the 2024 Direct Negotiation Licensing Round by the Liberia Petroleum Regulatory Agency.

Geographical Scope

The exploration blocks are located in the southern part of the Liberia Basin, covering an area of approximately 12,700 square kilometers. This strategic location is considered to have high potential for oil discoveries.

Work Program

The initial work program includes conducting a firm 3D seismic survey. This step is crucial for assessing the potential of the blocks and planning further exploration activities.
