Lhyfe Secures €2.5m in First Crowdfunding Success

Successful Crowdfunding Campaign

Lhyfe has successfully raised €2.5 million through its first crowdfunding campaign, marking a significant milestone in public investment for green hydrogen. The campaign attracted nearly 1,200 investors, with contributions ranging from €300 to €75,000, surpassing typical crowdfunding metrics.

Investment and Growth

Lhyfe's initiative allowed the public to invest in four sites across France and Germany, supporting the decarbonization of mobility and industry. This effort aligns with the European Union's target of achieving 40 GW of green hydrogen production capacity by 2030. Lhyfe's current sites have a production capacity of up to 9 tonnes of green hydrogen per day.

Financial Strategy

Since its inception in 2017, Lhyfe has raised nearly €184 million in equity capital and secured around €240 million in grants to support its projects. Notable funding includes a €149 million grant for the Green Horizon project near Le Havre. Additionally, Lhyfe has obtained €25 million in corporate bank financing and a €53 million project financing agreement.

Future Plans

Lhyfe is expanding its production capacity, with plans for a 100 MW site. The company is focused on enhancing energy sovereignty and re-industrialization in local regions, contributing to a greener industrial model. Lhyfe's projects are concrete sources of decarbonization and future revenue, supporting its mission to produce green and renewable hydrogen for a sustainable future.
