Experience and Background
Mukhtarov brings over three decades of experience in operations and engineering. His career began at the Tengiz oilfield in 1991, where he held various technical and supervisory roles, significantly contributing to the field's development.
Achievements of Predecessor
During his 3.5-year tenure, Suyessinov made notable contributions to enhancing local content in TCO's operations. Under his leadership, the local content indicator reached 71%.
Economic Impact
In 2024, TCO purchased goods and services worth approximately USD 3 billion from Kazakhstani suppliers. In the first nine months of 2025, this figure was USD 1.3 billion.
