The ISO 14021 Validation Statement for the ALTUGLAS™ R-Life acrylic product line has been updated. This update includes the use of recycled MMA monomer, emphasizing transparency in environmental claims.
Recycled MMA Monomer
The Validation Statement confirms that the chemically recycled MMA monomer, produced at the demonstration Depolymerization plant in Rho, Italy, is 100% recycled. This development reduces the dependency on virgin raw materials and supports the creation of high-performance, recycled-content acrylic solutions.
Certification by DNV
The Validation Statement was conducted by DNV Business Assurance Italy, an independent assurance and risk management company. This certification ensures that the environmental claims related to ALTUGLAS™ R-Life are accurate and verifiable.
Compliance with ISO 14021 Standards
ALTUGLAS™ R-Life PMMA resins manufactured at Trinseo’s Rho plant have been certified to meet ISO 14021 standards. This certification confirms that the environmental claims, such as recycled content, are aligned with internationally recognized standards.
