Cheniere published its 2025 Corporate Responsibility Report, titled "Powered By Our Values: A Decade Since Our First LNG Cargo," marking ten years since the first LNG cargo exported from its Sabine Pass liquefaction terminal in Louisiana. The report notes nearly 5,000 LNG export cargoes since that initial shipment and frames the milestone as transformational for global LNG trade.
Operational performance
The report records more than 330 million tonnes of LNG supplied since 2016, representing over 55% of all U.S. LNG and about 9% of global LNG exports. It also states Cheniere produced approximately 25% of Europe’s LNG imports and achieved a top‑quartile safety performance in 2025.
Governance and emissions reporting
Cheniere underscores its TRAINS values (Teamwork, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Nimble and Safety) as core governance principles. The company says it became the first LNG producer in North America to attain Gold Standard status under the Oil and Gas Methane Partnership 2.0 (OGMP 2.0).
Capital allocation and growth outlook
The company reports completing its "20/20 Vision" capital allocation plan nearly a year ahead of schedule, advancing multiple accretive growth projects, and having line of sight to more than 100 million tonnes per annum of LNG production capacity by the mid‑2030s.
