Award and performance

Chemetall, the Surface Treatment global business unit of BASF Coatings, was awarded Airbus’ Supply Chain & Quality Improvement Program (SQIP) "Accredited Supplier" status for the eleventh consecutive year. The status reflects sustained excellence in product quality, on‑time delivery and the ability to manage increasing production volumes.

Ceremony and teams

The award was presented at Airbus headquarters in Toulouse, where Airbus Procurement and Supply Chain & Quality Management teams recognized Chemetall employees across Production, Laboratory, Quality, Supply Chain and Customer Service functions.

De‑risking recognition

Chemetall also received a special award for de‑risking initiatives that support supply security and Airbus’ production needs. Guillaume Larrieu, Global Key Account Manager Airbus at Chemetall, said the recognition reflects the company's proactive approach to securing supply.
