Operational Continuity
Under a multi-year agreement, IQOXE will produce certain emulsions products, while Celanese will continue to market Mowilith® and Celvolit® atmospheric emulsions. This ensures continuity in the supply chain for these products.
Strategic Review and Sale Process
Celanese initiated the sale process for both its atmospheric and VAE emulsions units in Tarragona in March 2015. The decision was part of a broader corporate strategy review, focusing on optimizing the company’s global manufacturing footprint for better economies of scale.
