  • Baypren® 616 is free of nitrosamines and not classified as toxic to aquatic life.
  • ISCC PLUS enables sustainable feedstock integration via mass balance approach.

ISCC PLUS Certification

The ARLANXEO Chloroprene Rubber plant in Dormagen, Germany, has been awarded the ISCC PLUS certification, marking it as the sixth ARLANXEO facility to achieve this standard. This certification supports the integration of sustainable feedstocks into production processes through the mass balance approach.

Sustainable Product Range

ARLANXEO's Eco label offers a range of sustainable synthetic rubber products, including bio-based, bio-circular, and circular options, aimed at reducing customers' carbon footprints. The ISCC PLUS certification ensures compliance with environmental and sustainability standards.

Baypren® 616

Baypren® 616, a sulfur grade product, eliminates exposure to nitrosamines and their precursors, which are typically used in chloroprene/sulfur copolymers. It is free from substances that could form nitrosamines and is not subject to EU REACH ingredient classification changes. Unlike standard sulfur grades, Baypren® 616 is not toxic to aquatic life and is not considered a dangerous good.
