Overview
ARLANXEO has upgraded its Regional Technical Center in Changzhou into the Innovation Center Asia, inaugurating an expanded R&D hub; the ceremony was attended by Herman Dikland, Hong Sun, company representatives, customers, local authorities and university partners.
Facilities and capabilities
The center adds laboratory space, staff and equipment to support rubber compounding and processing, physical testing and chemical analysis of polymers, compounds and vulcanizates, battery application development including prototyping and testing, and a dedicated chemistry lab to support the new HNBR plant and global HNBR R&D.
Site integration
Located adjacent to ARLANXEO’s EPDM and HNBR production lines in Changzhou, the center is positioned to enable close collaboration with local customers and to leverage on-site production and compounding expertise for applied development work.
Global collaboration
The Innovation Center Asia is intended to complement ARLANXEO’s Dormagen innovation hub by sharing methods, evaluating advanced equipment and enabling joint R&D projects to support product development and technical solutions across markets.
