Project status

Air Products' new liquid hydrogen facility in the Rotterdam port area is over 65% complete and is expected to be operational in 2027.

Scale and purpose

Once online it will be the largest liquid hydrogen facility in Europe and expands supply for sectors including electronics manufacturing, space applications, industrial processing, road mobility, maritime, aviation and emerging energy markets.

Integration and supply area

The plant will be integrated with Air Products' existing hydrogen network in the Rotterdam industrial cluster and will supply off-takers across the Benelux, France, Germany and the UK.
