Visit Overview

Between February 23 and 26, aicep Global Parques conducted an institutional visit to Angola. The delegation was led by CEO Isabel Caldeira Cardoso and COO Manuel Gaeiras. The visit aimed to sign cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding in 2025 with various Angolan entities.

Objectives and Partnerships

The mission focused on fostering synergies and sharing best practices in business park management. It sought to consolidate institutional relations and identify collaboration opportunities in strategic areas such as industry, logistics, investment, and sustainable development. The visit was organized in partnership with AICEP Luanda and included the participation of the Portuguese Ambassador to Angola, Nuno Vaultier Mathias.

Key Meetings

Representatives from aicep Global Parques met with Angola’s Secretary of State for Trade and Services, Augusta Flores, and the Secretary of State for Industry, Carlos Rodrigues. Meetings and visits were also held with the Angolan Regulatory Agency for Cargo Certification and Logistics (ARCCLA), the Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency (AIPEX), and the Barra do Dande and Viana Special Economic Zones.

Outcomes

The engagements provided insights into the institutional and operational framework of the Angolan business ecosystem. The visit strengthened aicep Global Parques’ institutional ties with Angolan entities and opened new avenues for cooperation, focusing on experience exchange, expertise enhancement, and joint investment and development opportunities.
