Agência de Investimento Privado e Promoção das Exportações de Angola (AIPEX) is Angola’s national government agency responsible for attracting and facilitating private investment and promoting the country’s exports. It supports both domestic and foreign investors by providing guidance on the legal and regulatory framework, investment procedures, and available incentives under Angola’s private investment and export policies. AIPEX serves as an interface between investors, exporters, and public authorities to streamline project registration, licensing coordination, and aftercare.
The agency also works to expand Angolan exports through market intelligence, trade promotion, and business matchmaking, helping companies access regional and international markets. AIPEX focuses on priority sectors for economic diversification—such as agribusiness, manufacturing, energy, logistics, and industrial processing—including activities relevant to the chemical value chain. Its mandate includes monitoring approved projects and supporting compliance, with the aim of improving the investment climate and strengthening Angola’s export base.
