The 22nd International Conference and Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG2029) is scheduled to take place in Brisbane, Australia. It is organized by the International Gas Union, GTI Energy, and the International Institute of Refrigeration, with hosting by the Australian Gas Industry Trust and Australian Energy Producers.
The event, held every three years, alternates between LNG exporting and importing countries. It will bring together leaders, innovators, and professionals from across the LNG value chain to discuss the industry's role in the future energy mix, innovations, market trends, and its contribution to energy security and transition.
Australia was selected as the host following the conclusion of LNG2026 in Doha, Qatar. The conference coincides with the 40th anniversary of Australia's first LNG cargo delivery.
