The Beijing Zhongwei Association Beidou Spatio-temporal Technology Research Institute is a specialized research organization affiliated with the China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Association (中国卫星导航定位协会, abbreviated 中位协 or GLAC), China's national industry association for satellite navigation and location-based services established in 1995.

It focuses on BeiDou (China's GNSS) spatio-temporal information technologies, conducting R&D, technical studies, standardization efforts, and application development. The institute has participated in key projects, including R&D and technical work on BeiDou technology and terminal products for the oil and gas sector, which successfully passed acceptance by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Located in Beijing's Fengtai District, it collaborates with government bodies, enterprises, and academia to advance BeiDou integration across industries. It contributes to policy research, industry reports, and publications, such as co-authoring the 2022 book "BeiDou Application Industry and Technology Development Roadmap" with the association.

As part of China's broader BeiDou ecosystem, the institute supports the shift toward comprehensive spatio-temporal services, high-precision applications, and fusion with emerging technologies like IoT and AI. It helps position BeiDou as a core national infrastructure for positioning, navigation, timing, and related services, aiding the industry's growth to multi-trillion RMB scale while promoting domestic and international applications.

Also known as 中国卫星导航定位协会北斗时空技术研究院.
