Yanchang Petroleum Group Co., Ltd. (also known as Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group or Yanchang Petroleum) is a state-owned energy enterprise under the Shaanxi Provincial Government in China. With origins dating back to 1905, the group focuses on oil and gas exploration and production—particularly in the Ordos Basin—and operates refineries and petrochemical sites across Shaanxi Province.
Its operations span the full value chain: upstream oil and natural gas development; refining and marketing of transportation fuels and lubricants; and production of petrochemical and coal-chemical products, including olefins, aromatics, polymers, and related intermediates. The company also manages storage, pipelines, and retail networks, and maintains selective overseas upstream interests through subsidiaries. Yanchang Petroleum is a key regional supplier of fuels and chemical feedstocks in Northwest China.
