Sinopec Sales Co., Ltd. Xinjiang Petroleum Branch (中国石化销售股份有限公司新疆石油分公司), known as Xinjiang Petroleum, is the sole refined oil products sales company of Sinopec Group in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. Established on January 1, 2010, as a successor to the former Northwest Xinjiang branch, it operates from Urumqi.
The company focuses on the retail, direct distribution, wholesale, and storage of gasoline, diesel, lubricants, non-oil products, and other petrochemical items, while building Sinopec's marketing network in the region. It manages approximately 400 operating gas stations and convenience stores, 13 oil depots, handles an annual refined oil volume of about 3.5 million tons, and generates yearly sales revenue of around 20.5 billion RMB.
With 12 functional departments, 3 professional centers, 9 prefecture-level branches, and several subsidiaries, it supports Xinjiang's energy supply in the chemical and petroleum sectors.
