Founded in 2013 after the Vivo Energy Group acquired Shell Ghana Limited, the company continues a brand heritage in Ghana dating to 1928. It manages a network of more than 230 service stations offering fuels, lubricants, Shell Cards, convenience stores and quick-service restaurants. Commercial operations supply fuels and lubricants to mining, construction, manufacturing, aviation and other industries, supported by dedicated storage facilities.

Vivo Energy Ghana Limited is a subsidiary of Vivo Energy, which markets Shell and Engen brands across numerous African markets. Vivo Energy was established in 2011 through a partnership involving Vitol, Helios Investment Partners and Shell; it is now fully owned by Vitol following phased acquisitions. This structure positions the Ghana entity as a Vitol affiliate specializing in downstream storage and distribution activities.
