ORLEN Unipetrol Group

ORLEN Unipetrol Group is a Czech integrated refining and petrochemical company and the country’s largest oil-processing and petrochemical producer. Fully owned by Poland’s ORLEN S.A., the group operates major production sites at Litvínov (Chempark Záluží) and Kralupy nad Vltavou, with additional assets including Paramo and Spolana, complemented by logistics operations and a nationwide fuel retail network under the ORLEN brand.

The group’s activities span crude oil processing into transportation fuels and petrochemical feedstocks, and the manufacture of basic chemicals and polymers. Its portfolio typically includes gasoline, diesel and jet fuel; monomers and intermediates such as ethylene, propylene, C4s and aromatics; and plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene supplied to converters and chemical producers across Central and Eastern Europe. It also produces refinery specialties including bitumen and base oils, and supports research and development and education initiatives at the Litvínov site.
