TÜRASAŞ (Türkiye Raylı Sistem Araçları Sanayii A.Ş.) is Türkiye’s national rail vehicle manufacturer. Established in 2020 through the merger of three long-standing TCDD subsidiaries—TÜVASAŞ (passenger railcars), TÜLOMSAŞ (locomotives and engines), and TÜDEMSAŞ (freight wagons)—the company consolidates design, manufacturing, and maintenance capabilities for the country’s rail sector. It operates major production sites in Eskişehir, Sakarya, and Sivas.
The company develops and produces diesel and electric locomotives, electric and diesel multiple units (EMUs/DMUs), passenger coaches, freight wagons, bogies, traction systems, and related components, and provides modernization and lifecycle services for rolling stock. TÜRASAŞ supports domestic industrial capability and localization in rail technologies while serving national rail projects and selected export markets.
