Texas LNG Brownsville LLC (Texas LNG) is a U.S. project company developing a mid‑scale liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal at the Port of Brownsville, Texas. The planned facility targets about 4 million tonnes per annum of capacity and includes gas pretreatment, liquefaction trains, LNG storage, and a marine berth to load carriers for international markets.
The company is a subsidiary of Glenfarne Energy Transition, part of Glenfarne Group. Texas LNG has secured key federal authorizations and selected Kiewit as its engineering, procurement, and construction contractor under a lump‑sum turnkey structure. Its commercialization strategy is based on long‑term offtake agreements with global buyers, supplying LNG from U.S. Gulf Coast natural gas resources to power, industrial, and utility customers.
