Texas LNG Brownsville LLC (Texas LNG) is a U.S.-based developer of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal at the Port of Brownsville, Texas. The project is part of Glenfarne Energy Transition, a subsidiary of Glenfarne Group, and is designed as a mid-scale facility with an expected capacity of about 4 million tonnes per annum to serve international LNG markets.
The terminal’s design emphasizes modular construction and electric-drive liquefaction to reduce emissions intensity compared with conventional LNG plants. Texas LNG focuses on long-term offtake arrangements with global buyers and has advanced through key U.S. permitting processes, including review by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and related export authorizations.
