OMV Petrom & CE Oltenia advance 550 MW solar build with first panel deliveries

First panel shipments landed; ~800,000 panels planned for four parks (≈550 MW). Installations start as equipment is trucked from Constanța, with parks due online in 2027.

OMV Petrom and CE Oltenia Begin 550 MW Solar Park Construction

The solar parks will power 410,000 homes by 2026, with a EUR 400M investment. 70% is funded by the Modernisation Fund. 200 mining technicians retrained for renewable energy roles.
