Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Ltd (SNEPCo) is the deep-water upstream business of Shell in Nigeria. The company explores, develops, and produces crude oil and natural gas from offshore fields, leveraging subsea and floating production systems.
SNEPCo operates the Bonga deep-water field and associated tie-backs in Nigeria’s offshore, working under production sharing arrangements with NNPC Limited and international partners. Its output contributes to Nigeria’s crude exports and associated gas supply to domestic and export markets, including LNG. As part of Shell’s global upstream portfolio, SNEPCo focuses on safe, reliable operations and long-life offshore developments that underpin energy supply and feedstocks relevant to the wider chemicals value chain.
