SCA (Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget) is a Swedish forest industry group focused on sustainably managed forests and integrated wood fiber production. Headquartered in Sundsvall, the company is Europe’s largest private forest owner and operates forestry, sawmills, pulp production, and containerboard (kraftliner) mills in northern Sweden.
For the chemical value chain, SCA’s kraft pulp processes generate bio-based feedstocks such as crude tall oil and turpentine, which are used in chemicals, resins, and biofuel production. The company also produces biomass-based energy and supports infrastructure for renewable power on its land.
