SAIC General Motors Corporation Limited (SAIC GM) is a Chinese automotive joint venture between SAIC Motor Corporation Limited and General Motors. Established in 1997 and headquartered in Shanghai, the company manufactures, imports, and sells passenger vehicles for the China market under the Buick, Chevrolet, and Cadillac brands.
SAIC GM operates multiple vehicle and powertrain plants across China, supported by local engineering, procurement, and a nationwide sales and aftersales network. Its portfolio includes internal-combustion models and new energy vehicles developed and localized to meet Chinese market and regulatory requirements.
