SAG GmbH (SAG Group) is a Germany-based engineering and services provider specializing in energy and utility infrastructure. The company plans, builds, upgrades, and maintains electricity transmission and distribution networks, gas and district heating pipelines, substations and overhead lines, as well as protection, control, and automation systems.
SAG’s portfolio also covers fiber-optic and telecommunications network deployment, smart metering and grid services, and turnkey industrial energy solutions. Its customers include transmission and distribution system operators, municipal utilities, and industrial sites—among them chemical and process manufacturers that rely on reliable power, gas, and instrumentation for plant operations and safety. SAG became part of the SPIE Group in 2017 and has since been integrated into SPIE’s German and Central European multi-technical services activities.
