Pryme is a Netherlands-based chemical recycling company focused on converting waste plastic into petrochemical feedstocks. The company develops and operates industrial-scale plants that use pyrolysis to process mixed and hard-to-recycle plastics.
Pryme’s technology thermally decomposes plastic waste into pyrolysis oil, non-condensable gases, and solids. The oil is conditioned to meet specifications for use as a circular feedstock in steam crackers, enabling the production of base chemicals and plastics within existing petrochemical infrastructure. Off-gases can be recovered for process energy, supporting overall plant efficiency.
The company works with industry partners to qualify material for downstream use, align with regulatory requirements, and apply mass-balance methodologies for traceability.
