Pryme N.V.

About Pryme

Pryme N.V. is a publicly listed Dutch cleantech company focused on chemical recycling of plastic waste. Incorporated as a naamloze vennootschap (N.V.) and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 75055449, the company is headquartered in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

The company developed proprietary enhancements to pyrolysis technology to convert mixed, non-mechanically recyclable plastic waste into pyrolysis oil, a feedstock for petrochemical companies to produce new plastics. This process aims to support a circular plastics economy by diverting waste from landfills and incineration.

Pryme constructed and operated its first industrial plant, Pryme One, in the Port of Rotterdam, which began production in early 2024 with an initial designed capacity of approximately 40,000 tonnes of plastic waste per year. The company was listed on Euronext Growth Oslo under the ticker PRYME with ISIN NL0015002E73.

In March 2026, following operational challenges including reactor issues, Pryme decided to terminate operations at Pryme One, cease development of its owned technology, and initiate restructuring measures while exploring strategic alternatives. The company is no longer operating as a going concern and has subsidiaries involved in management and circular cleantech activities.

With roots tracing back to research initiated in 2008, Pryme previously raised funding from investors including Taranis and others to scale its operations.
