Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A. (PGNiG) is Poland’s leading natural gas company, active across the value chain from exploration and production of natural gas and crude oil to wholesale and retail supply. Headquartered in Warsaw, it is a key supplier to industry and households and a major importer of pipeline gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG).

Through its subsidiaries, PGNiG produces gas and oil in Poland and on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, manages significant underground gas storage capacity, operates the nationwide gas distribution network via Polska Spółka Gazownictwa, and generates heat and power through PGNiG Termika. Its trading operations build a diversified LNG portfolio and engage in European gas markets. The company also develops projects in low‑carbon gases, including biomethane and hydrogen. PGNiG is part of the ORLEN Group. For the chemical industry, it is an important supplier of natural gas for energy and as a feedstock, including to petrochemical and fertilizer producers.
