ORLEN Synthos Green Energy (OSGE) is a Poland-based joint venture established by ORLEN, an integrated energy and petrochemicals group, and Synthos Green Energy, part of the Synthos chemical group. The company focuses on developing and deploying small modular nuclear reactor (SMR) projects to supply low-emission electricity and process heat to industry and the power system.
OSGE’s activities span site selection, licensing, project development, financing, and delivery of SMR assets in collaboration with global technology providers. Its goal is to support the decarbonization and energy security of energy-intensive sectors, including chemicals and refining, in Poland.
