A 1 GW electrolyser will link to a 2 GW offshore wind farm, supplying renewable hydrogen via a 45 km pipeline to major industrial players in the Dutch-Flemish North Sea Port cluster.

The project aims to build a 50 MW electrolyser at Lingen Refinery, powered by offshore wind, to produce green hydrogen, reducing CO2 emissions by 80,000 tonnes annually. Operational by 2024.

Topsoe will provide carbon reduction tech for a Danish project aiming to produce renewable hydrogen, methanol, and jet fuel by 2030, with stages starting from 2023 and scaling up to 1.3 GW capacity.

The project aims to develop a hydrogen and e-fuel facility by 2023, scaling up by 2030 to produce 250,000 tonnes of sustainable fuel annually, reducing carbon emissions by 850,000 tonnes.

The new plant converts industrial residues into bio-natural gas and fertilizer, supporting circular economy and significant carbon savings. It will produce 8 million cubic meters of gas annually.

The plant used 30,000 tons of straw annually to produce bio-ethanol, biofuel, and molasses. It began operations in 2009 but was shut down in 2015. A fermentation protocol was later tested in Skærbæk.
