OPZ (Odessa Port Plant) is a Ukrainian state-owned chemical producer and export terminal located in Yuzhny (Pivdennyi), Odesa region on the Black Sea. The plant manufactures nitrogen fertilizers, primarily ammonia and urea, and supports domestic and international supply chains for agricultural and industrial users.
In addition to production, OPZ operates significant storage and marine handling facilities, enabling the reception, storage, and shipment of ammonia, urea, and methanol, including transshipment services for third-party producers. Its integrated production units, granulation capability, and deep-water terminal make it a key hub in Ukraine’s nitrogen fertilizer industry and a strategic gateway for chemical exports via the Black Sea.
