Norwegian Hydrogen is a Nordic energy company that develops, builds, and operates green hydrogen production and distribution infrastructure. Using electrolysis powered by renewable electricity, the company produces low-carbon hydrogen for use across industry, transport, and maritime sectors in Norway and the wider Nordic region.
The company supplies compressed hydrogen to industrial users and supports heavy-duty mobility through storage, compression, logistics, and refueling solutions (including stations under the Vireon brand). It also participates in power-to-X value chains, where green hydrogen serves as a feedstock for e-fuels and other hydrogen-derived chemicals. For the chemical industry, Norwegian Hydrogen provides a decarbonized input that can replace fossil-based hydrogen and enable the production of derivatives such as methanol and ammonia, supporting emissions reduction in hard-to-abate processes.
