GreenIron's Sandviken plant will use green hydrogen from Norway for zero-emissions metal production, marking a key step in scaling operations and enhancing supply chain security.

The partnership will produce bio-e-methanol from bio-waste and hydrogen, doubling methanol output. The first project in Øyer aims for 150,000 tons of bio-e-methanol and 15,000 tons of green hydrogen.

The MOU aims to develop green hydrogen projects in the Nordics, focusing on production, export, and infrastructure, with a Design Concept Study to be completed by 1H2023.
