Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles (MCV) is a leading Egyptian automotive manufacturer focused on commercial vehicles, with primary operations in bus and truck production. Established in 1994 and headquartered in Obour City near Cairo, with its main factory in El Salheya El Gedida, the company produces coaches, city buses, minibuses, specialized passenger vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, and vans. It also manufactures electric buses and is advancing zero-emission technologies including green hydrogen solutions.

MCV serves markets across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Asia Pacific, and other regions, exporting a significant portion of its output. It maintains partnerships with global brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, and Daimler, often producing vehicles under dual branding like Mercedes-Benz MCV. Privately held and founded by Karim Ghabbour, MCV is associated with the Ghabbour Group. It acts as a joint founder of Battery Manufacturing Egypt (BME) in partnership with Auto D, contributing to local battery pack production for electric commercial vehicles through technology licensing from CATL. In the industry, MCV positions itself as a key supplier of customized, high-quality transport solutions and a contributor to Egypt's growing sustainable mobility and EV supply chain.
