Its core assets include the mature Kalamkas and Zhetybai fields, alongside several satellite deposits, with output supplied to Kazakhstan’s domestic refining system and exported via established pipeline and rail routes. Mangistaumunaigas focuses on reservoir management and enhanced oil recovery to sustain brownfield production and develop hard-to-recover reserves. The company is jointly owned by National Company KazMunayGas (KMG) and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) through their Mangistau Investments B.V. joint venture.
