Lion Corporation (Thailand) Limited is a major manufacturer and distributor of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) based in Thailand. Originally established in 1967 as a joint venture between Saha Pathanapibul Co., Ltd. and Lion Fat & Oil Co., Ltd. of Japan under the name The Lion Fat & Oil (Thailand) Co., Ltd., it merged with Lion Toothpaste Co., Ltd. in 1980 to form its current entity.
The company produces a wide range of household and personal care products, including laundry detergents and fabric softeners under brands such as HI CLASS, PAO, and PRO; oral care items like SALZ toothpaste; baby products under KODOMO; shampoos; and other cleaning agents. It operates manufacturing plants in Bangkok and Sriracha, Chonburi province, and exports to markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and other regions.
As an affiliate of the Japanese Lion Corporation, it emphasizes sustainable innovation, ethical business practices, and environmental responsibility. Recent collaborations, such as with SCGC on recycled packaging for HI CLASS and other detergents, highlight its focus on reducing carbon emissions and promoting circular economy principles.
